Analysis

The Giants have taken a punt on their squad this season. After a few seasons worth of struggle, they have invested into making sure it doesn’t happen again.

The acquisition of NRL talents James Gavet and Aidan Sezer are certainly ones to look out for. It will also be interesting to see if Ashton Golding can resurrect his Super League career, after a few spells on loan at Featherstone Rovers in the Championship.

Kenny Edwards could be another exciting signing. He will bring some aggression into that forward line and could be a good replacement for Alex Mellor, who has joined Leeds.

One more piece of business they may have to do is buy another hooker. Kruise Leeming left after a much drawn out transfer saga. They may look within, they do have a very good academy in Huddersfield, or they may look to get in some more experience.

Either way, it will be interesting to see how the combinations work for the Giants next year.
