Rangi Chase to make return from two-year drugs ban

Rangi Chase will make his long-awaited return to rugby league this weekend.

The former Man of Steel winner will debut for Doncaster in their League One clash against Whitehaven on Sunday.

Chase has not played since receiving a two-year drugs ban while playing for Widnes in 2017.

The 32-year-old signed for the Dons in May in a deal that runs until the end of the season.

With two months training under his belt, there will be big expectations on Chase as Richard Horne’s side aim to close the gap at the top of League One.

The Dons are aiming for a third consecutive victory which would see them move to within three points of Whitehaven at the summit.

Staged at Featherstone Rovers’ LD Nutrition Stadium, season tickets holders from Castleford Tigers, Wakefield Trinity and Featherstone can watch the game for just £10.

Fans can purchase tickets for the game in advance and save by securing their seat from the Club Doncaster Box Office on 01302 762576 or via tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
