West Wales Raiders forward Chris Davies has been given a six-match ban for gouging during their Challenge Cup defeat to amateurs Underbank Rangers.

Davies had been referred to the tribunal following the incident and had pled not guilty. However, the panel found otherwise and banned him for six matches.

He must also pay a £75 fine.

Elsewhere, Barrow Raiders forward Carl Forster was found not guilty of his Grade D charge of Other Contrary Behaviour.
