Widnes have confirmed the departure of promising outside back Sam Freeman.
The youngster was out of contract at the end of 2019 and has not been offered a new deal.
Freeman made waves at the club back in April after scoring four tries in the Vikings’ 44-12 win over York at the Halton Stadium.
He went on to make a further seven appearances for the Vikings, as well as playing once for North Wales on dual-registration.
The Vikings said in a statement on their website: “The club would like to thank Sam for all his efforts during his time at the club, and wish him all the best for the future.”
