Price not expecting anything different from Leeds

Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has said he will change any preparations for the game against Leeds Rhinos.

With the Rhinos in the Challenge Cup Final on Saturday, they have named a young squad, with 13 changes from the side that beat Hull FC.

Despite this, he said he will prepare for the best version of the Rhinos.

He said: “Every game we prepare is the best version. We expect nothing different on Tuesday. Whatever team you come up against, you always give them the upmost respect, and this will be no different.”

After two games against some of their rivals for a top four place, Warrington will go into a break. Price says it has come at the right time for his players.

He added: “I think it’s come at a good time. We have played a fair bit of footy in a short space of time since the restart.

“We’ve played some really good footy in that time. We’re looking for a strong performance, then it’s a great opportunity for the lads to have a few days off and go again.”
