Price keen to put on a show

Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has said he is keen to put on a show for supporters on Sunday against Hull FC.

He praised the impact of having supporters back when they beat Wigan Warriors, and he is hoping for a similar impact on Sunday.

Given that it is a weekend match, Price is hoping to get more younger fans into the stadium and put in a good performance for them.

He said: “We are excited to be back at home and back amongst our supporters. They have sacrificed a lot over the last 18 months and certainly made a difference against Wigan the other week.

“It’s a Sunday afternoon, hopefully we can get a lot more families and kids to the game. Hopefully we can put on a really good show for them.”

However, he is wary of Hull FC, who come into the game off the back of three straight defeats.

He added on the Black and Whites: “They have a lot of quality and a big forward pack. We need to match them and if keep doing what we are doing.

“If we do that, and keep matching our effort areas, then we will give ourselves every chance, but we need to tidy up our errors.

“We made it hard for ourselves at the start of the game in the last two weeks. We are looking for a big improvement in that regard this week.”
