Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has said he is happy with the performance of the team, after winning against Salford Red Devils.
The Wire marked Mike Cooper’s testimonial with a 26-10 win over the Super League Grand Finalists.
They won thanks to tries from Toby King, Anthony Gelling, Luther Burrell and Tom Lineham.
He said: “Across the board, I thought we looked fit and strong. When we carried the ball and effort off-the-ball was sound too.
“Danny Walker and Luther Burrell had some really good touches and we looked fast across the board.”
Wire will hope to take that energy into the first week of the new season when they take on Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium.
