Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has confirmed Matty Ashton picked up a hamstring injury during Friday’s win over Toronto Wolfpack.
Ashton limped off in the second half, and was replaced by Luther Burrell. Ashton also scored his first try for Warrington in the match.
Price said: It’s a hamstring strain. It looked like a decent one from where I was sitting, which is unfortunate because he’s had a really good start to the season.
“He didn’t play last week, so we’ll look into that.
“But coming off a five day turnaround, I thought we showed some good grit at the back end.”
