Bradford have confirmed that powerful prop Levy Nzoungou has signed a new one-year deal with the club for 2021.
The 22-year-old joined the Bulls ahead of the 2020 season from French club Albi, having had previous spells with St Helens, Hull FC, Salford and Melbourne Storm.
He played five Championship games before the season was brought to an end by the Covid-19 pandemic, but will line up for John Kear’s side once again in 2021.
Bradford head coach Kear said: “I am really pleased he has signed because we thought we had unearthed a bit of a gem when he first came to the club and I think he was proving to be so in the games he played.
“We are just hoping that when we do return, that he is back to that level he was at and I think his form pre-lockdown will give him confidence coming back.”
Nzoungou is the sixth player to commit his future to the Bulls as of late, joining Sam Hallas, Brandon Pickersgill, Joe Brown, Brad Gallagher and Ebon Scurr in penning new deals, while experienced halfback Danny Brough will also join the club in 2021.
