Popular Castleford duo set to leave

Castleford Tigers duo Jesse Sene-Lefao and Alex Foster are set to leave at the end of 2021, according to Rugby League Live.

Both Sene-Lefao and Foster are out of contract and are still yet to sign new deals, with incoming boss Lee Radford already signing Alex Sutcliffe and Kenny Edwards to be his first-choice back-rowers in 2022.

Full of life and vim and vigour, Samoan Sene-Lefao joined the Tigers back in 2017 – just in time for their sensational, record-breaking season.

Since then, Sene-Lefao has made over 100 Castleford appearances and is in line to make his 150th career game against Wakefield last weekend.

Foster – like Sene-Lefao – has been a long servant for the Tigers, joining in the same year and playing in his maiden Grand Final in 2017.

The versatile forward, however, is set to join a Championship club with Radford putting his own stamp on the squad, having signed the likes of Jake Mamo also.
