Playmaker returns to give Super League side hope

Hull KR and Salford Red Devils are both dreaming of Wembley.

Both have played their in the last decade but neither had the experience they wanted.

In 2015, Hull KR suffered a record breaking defeat to a Leeds Rhinos side storming to the treble. The Robins conceded 50 points that day and were nilled.

As for Salford, they gave a much better account of themselves against the same opposition in 2020 but sadly for their fans due to the pandemic they didn’t get to sample the Wembley atmosphere.

Now they both stand one step away from the semi-finals. Hull KR played in the semis last year and will want to go one better but they are doing it tough with injuries.

The team news is now in and Hull KR give a debut at fullback to French fullback Tanguy Zenon on loan from Catalans Dragons.

They have a halfback pairing of Rowan Milnes and Mikey Lewis.

As for Salford they’re as strong as they can be at the moment. Of course Andy Ackers is still injured but the rest of their side is star studded with Chris Atkin at nine .
