Yesterday we saw a crucial Hull derby in the play-off race with Hull KR and Hull FC colliding to put pressure on Leeds Rhinos and Salford Red Devils as the play-off race well and truly heats up.
Hull KR led 6-0 at the break with a great try from home debutant Jack Walker playing against his former club.
However, a sensational try from Adam Swift levelled matters for the Black and Whites.
He wrapped up the win with a second try and Hull FC’s third after great work by Danny Houghton.
This though came after a vital Ligi Sao try as he powered over after a probing run from Brad Dwyer.
This came after Hull KR were reduced to 12 men with a red card for Shaun Kenny-Dowall.
The centre caught Jake Clifford high however former Hull FC and Hull KR star Paul Cooke claimed the centre was lucky to only get a yellow
“He is maybe a bit lucky here to just go to the bin here Brian. It is a little bit of a nasty one isn’t it, he said on Sky Sports,
“Clifford is on his way down and he gets him square across the chin.”
He claimed the only reason he wasn’t red carded was because Clifford didn’t get injured:
“I think if Clifford leaves the field there or goes off a HIA, I think he goes off with a different colour.”
Either way it was definitely a yellow:
“It was no doubt that he was going to get a card of some description.”
