Seven of the eight quarter-finalists in the rugby league world cup have already been confirmed.

Holders Australia take on Lebanon, New Zealand will look at avenge their 2017 quarter-final defeat to Fiji whilst Samoa and Tonga could be the best and biggest quarter-final in the tournament’s history.

However, England’s opponents aren’t quite settled. Papua New Guinea’s place in the last eight is all but confirmed but Wales could mathematically take their place in the knockouts with the right win.

So, here’s everything you need to know about the last group game of the World Cup and one of the most important.

The game kicks off at 19:30 at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster.

There could be some first appearances of the tournament for Papua New Guiean who have included the likes of Zev John in their squad. Their spine will still intact with Leigh trio Nene MacDonald, Lachlan Lam and Edwin Ipape set to play key roles. Meanwhile, Leeds Rhinos star Rhyse Martin will look to lead the way. Wales have named a strong squad with Wakefield Trinity winger Kyle Evans set to catch the eye once again.
