One plays, one doesn’t – decisions made on Hull FC’s and Wigan’s potential debutants

For both sides involved in tonight’s Sky Sports game, the international break came at the wrong time.

Hull FC finally ended a seven game losing run by shocking Huddersfield Giants before the league went on a break to allow England to meet France.

Meanwhile, before the international break Wigan looked like the side most likely to dethrone Champions St Helens.

Their form had been sensational defeating the Saints prior to a win over then league leaders Warrington Wolves.

Then their win over Wakefield Trinity last time out saw them move top of the league.

They then had six players star for England three  of which scored in the shape of Harry Smith, Jake Wardle and Ethan Havard.

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage starts on Sky Sports Arena from 19:30.

The team news is now in for the game and Jake Trueman is set for his debut off the bench for Hull FC after his huge move from Castleford.

His debut has been delayed by injury till now.

Ben McNamara joins Jake Clifford in the halves with youngster Davy Litten at fullback.

Darnell McIntosh is joined by Cameron Scott on the wings meanwhile.

As for Wigan there is no debut for their own signing from Castleford whose debut has also been delayed by injury – Ryan Hampshire.

He is 18th man but Iain Thornley plays for the first time this season on the wing instead of Liam Marshall.

Bevan French of course starts at fullback with Joe Shorrocks and Harry Smith start in the halves.
