One Leeds Rhinos player confirmed as not being able to return for Salford Red Devils clash

Tomorrow, Leeds fans are excited about what kind of line-up new boss Rohan Smith could name in his first game in charge.

Smith has a number of exciting youngsters in his squad like Jack Sinfield as well as some major returnees including winger David Fusitu’a, fullback Richie Myler and new signing Zak Hardaker who has now recovered from the seizure which postponed his second debut.

There was also hope that Tom Holroyd may figure against the Red Devils. Interestingly, last season he made his first appearance of the season late due to injury as was the case this year. In 2021, his comeback game was away to the Red Devils. However, that will not be the case in 2022.

That’s because Holroyd has instead been selected for the Rhinos’ reserves game against Castleford this afternoon starting on the bench.

This will likely be to get him up to speed with an appearance against Wakefield next week on the cards.
