Oldham RLFC chairman Chris Hamilton out of hospital

Oldham RLFC have announced that chairman Chris Hamilton is out of hospital after an illness.

The club released this statement last night: “We are delighted to announce that our club chairman Chris Hamilton is now out of hospital and back home. He wishes to sincerely thank everyone who sent him good wishes and to say how much they bucked him up.

“He has been told to spend a few days resting and recuperating so in the meantime vice-chairman John Roddy will be at the helm.

“True to form, though, Chris had asked us to remind everyone of the 5pm deadline on Thursday for the purchase of season tickets online via the ticket page.

“He also wishes it to be known that the club will be in touch with all those who have already bought season tickets as soon as they are ready. This year season tickets won’t be in the usual book form; this time more like a credit or debit card.”

Everyone from Serious About Rugby League passes on their well wishes to Chris and his family at this time!
