Oldham have confirmed the re-signing of forward Jimmy Beckett on loan from Featherstone Rovers.
Beckett was at the club last season, and scored the winning try as Oldham beat Newcastle Thunder to gain promotion to the Championship.
The 20-year-old has signed a season-long-loan at the club. Although Featherstone do have a recall option, should that be required.
Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton told the club website: “Jimmy did well in recent pre-season games for Rovers but he wanted to come back and we wanted him back.
“We’ve been working on this for a while and we’re delighted to get it over the line.
“Jimmy will be in contention for our first league game against Widnes Vikings on Sunday at Bower Fold, Stalybridge.”
