Brisbane Broncos winger Corey Oates has stated that a new contract with the club is coming “soon”.
Earlier in the season their were reports that the Broncos were looking to free up salary cap space to re-sign young second-rower David Fifita Jnr.
These rumours only flourished when it was suggested that the Broncos were planning a clean out of their roster.
The winger is however confident that a new contract is in the works.
The 24 year old had a solid 2019, scoring 13 tries, making 67 tackle breaks and 13 line breaks.
