NRL veteran rejects two Super League coaching offers

Shane Flanagan has rejected the chance to become Leeds boss, the Daily Telegraph has revealed.

The former Cronulla boss who became assistant coach at St George Illawarra in 2019 is currently without a club after the Dragons decided to part ways with him when Anthony Griffin became boss ahead of the 2021 season.

But, with Leeds’ Richard Agar linked with a move to the Sharks – though this was rejected by the current Rhinos head coach – it appears as though the West Yorkshire club’s hierarchy are making moves to secure a future leader.
