NRL Team of the Week: Round 7

1. Clint Gutherson

Gutherson played a crucial role in Parramatta’s thrilling win over the Raiders. Helped his side recover from the loss of Mitchell Moses who limped off in the first half.  Gutherson assisted two tries and kicked the game-winning field goal in golden point.

2. David Nofoaluma

Nofoaluma’s Tigers came up against the struggling Bulldogs in Round 7, and the winger notched up two tries and 216 run metres in his side 34-6 win.

3. Paul Momirovski

Momirovski was excellent in his side’s dominant win over the Warriors. The loanee scored two tries and made 183 run metres in the 50-6 demolition.

4. Brett Morris

Like a fine wine, the Morris twins seem to get better with age. In possibly career best form at the age of 33, Brett Morris was again at the heart of a Roosters victory as he bagged three tries in his side’s 26-12 win over the Dragons.

5. Suliasu Vunivalu

Vunivalu scored three tries and made 122 run metres in Melbourne’s victory over the New Zealand Warriors.

6. Luke Keary

Helping the Roosters make it five wins from five since the season restart, Keary scored a try and assisted two others in the Roosters Round 7 victory.

7. Nathan Cleary

Cleary helped steer his side to a 20-12 victory over the Rabbitohs in Round 7 as the New South Wales halfback scored a late try to help seal the win for the Panthers.

8. Reagan Campbell-Gillard

Campbell-Gillard continued his fine form for the Eels with an impressive display in Round 7. RCG made 49 tackles, 247 run metres and 131 post-contact metres.

9. Harry Grant

Since the restart of the 2020 season, Harry Grant has proved that he is one of the game’s best young talents. In a resounding victory against Canterbury, Grant scored a try, made 45 tackles and ran for 168 metres.

Making his first appearance in our Team of the Week in Round 7, Lane was impressive in the Eels win over the Raiders. Lane made 194 run metres, made two line break assists and one try assist in the victory.

12. Ryan Matterson

Matterson is becoming a regular in our Team of the Week and was great again in Round 7, making 137 run metres, 41 tackles and scoring a try.

13. Jason Taumalolo

In another devastating performance, Taumalolo made 297 run metres, 128 post-contact metres and 32 tackles in the Cowboys win over the Knights.
