NRL star weighing up Super League move
Josh Reynolds has reportedly been offered to Super League clubs.
NRL halfback Josh Reynolds could be set for a move to Super League, after Wests Tigers gave him permission to speak to other clubs.
The former New South Wales Origin representative has struggled for game time for Wests this season, finding himself stuck behind Luke Brooks and Benji Marshall in the pecking order.
Instead, he has been plying his trade for Wests’ feeder club Western Suburbs Magpies, turning out plenty of impressive performances.
While the Tigers have given the 30-year-old the chance to reclaim his first grade spot, they have also refused to stand in his way should a good enough offer arise.
It is believed that there is NRL interest for his signature, however, there are also numerous Super League clubs that could be set to make a move.
Among them are Catalan Dragons and Leeds Rhinos, who have both also been battling for Penrith scrum-half James Maloney.
Reynolds’ availability could certainly turn their heads, and could even mean both clubs secure deals for a top-class NRL halfback ahead of 2020.
