Even though the November 1st deadline has passed meaning that NRL players off-contract at the end of 2025 are free to negotiate deals for 2026, there still remains a host of free agents available for Super League clubs to sign in 2025.
November 1st is a massive day in the NRL calendar as it effectively opens up the new season and marks the date at which clubs can begin to negotiate with rival players for the next season. For Super League clubs, the date has traditionally been May 1st although that is subject to change.
For example, former Wigan Warriors man Kai Pearce-Paul sees his contract expire at the end of the 2025 season but now that the November 1st deadline has passed, clubs can negotiate a deal with him for the 2026 season.
Whilst there will be plenty of attractive players for Super League clubs to speak to regarding a deal for 2026, there remain lots of free agents without a deal for the 2025 season.
We’ve looked at every NRL player without a deal to check out the talent pool for those Super League clubs with quota spots available.
