NRL line-ups revealed for Round 17

The eight NRL clubs in Round 17 action this weekend have confirmed their 21-man squads.

Despite missing talismanic halfback Nathan Cleary, Penrith edged a huge 13-12 win over top four rivals Parramatta last week, with stand-in Matt Burton kicking the vital drop goal late on.

The Panthers weren’t the only side to clinch a one-point victory, with St George coming from behind to beat New Zealand 19-18 in golden point.

There were also convincing wins for Melbourne, Manly, Gold Coast and Newcastle, while Brisbane notched a shock 26-18 victory over Cronulla to nudge themselves two points above bottom-placed Canterbury in the table.

This week’s action is kicked off by the Sea Eagles hosting the Raiders at 4 Pines Park on Thursday at 10:50am (UK time).

With State of Origin Game III happening next Wednesday, eight clubs have the luxury of a bye this weekend.
