With ANZ Stadium undergoing renovations between 2020 and 2022 the NRL Grand Final will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground in 2020 and 2021, whilst a newly refurbished Allianz Stadium will host in 2022.
We have known the location of the 2020 and 2022 Grand Finals for a while now, however up until today the location of the 2021 Grand Final hadn’t been confirmed.
Brisbane, Perth and Sydney put in respective bids for the 2021 edition and Sydney has won through the NSW Government’s $10,000,000 bid to keep the NRL Grand Final in Sydney.
It has also been confirmed that a 25 year deal has been signed to keep the Grand Final in Sydney, which will take affect in 2021, meaning the NRL Grand Final is guaranteed to stay in Sydney until at least 2046.
