NRL clubs eyeing Warrington’s Tongan star

After a dominant performance in his national team Tonga’s victory over Australia, Warrington star forward Ben Murdoch-Masila is reportedly being targeted by multiple NRL clubs.

The front-rower has already had a reputable career in the NRL before heading over to England, playing 58 NRL games between 2010 and 2015 for the Wests Tigers and Penrith Panthers, before originally moving to 2019 Super League runners up Salford Red Devils in 2016 and then to the Warrington Wolves in 2018.

Since joining Warrington, the forward has been an integral part of the Wolves’ roster, playing 54 games and was a part of the side’s 2019 Challenge Cup win.

Ben Murdoch-Masila’s manger Mario Tarak had this to say to Wide World of Sports:

“I’ve had two approaches already and am expecting some more in coming days.”
