We have seen the likes of Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves and Hull KR linked with or completing big signings from the NRL for next year.
Hull KR have signed Oliver Gildart and Peta Hiku for the 2024 season whilst Warrington Wolves have confirmed the arrival of Lachlan Fitzgibbon from Newcastle Knights beating a number of other clubs in Super League.
Wigan Warriors will be bringing back Kruise Leeming to Super League with the former Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos star headed to the DW Stadium. They have also been linked with Brenko Lee from The Dolphins.
Whilst Leeds Rhinos have been linked with Danny Levi. However, many Super League clubs could lose their stars to the NRL with Jake Clifford set to leave Hull FC to join North Queensland Cowboys.
This comes as Leigh Leopards star Lachlan Lam is also linked with an NRL move as is Salford Red Devils star and Man of Steel Brodie Croft.
The stand-off was unplayable late into the 2022 Super League season.
He guided the Red Devils to the play-offs from an unlikely position tearing teams apart with his running game.
The stand-off won the Man of Steel as consequence and took Salford all the way to the semi-finals.
However a head injury ruled him out of the clash against St Helens and he could have been the difference in what was a disappointing day for the club.
The club were proactive about his future signing him to a huge eight year deal but that hasn’t stopped NRL club Wests Tigers from having an interest in the star stand-off with the Daily Telegraph reporting that he is now a potential target for the club.
Now the same publication have suggested Benji Marshall and the Tigers would be prepared to battle for his signature.
It has been reported by a number of sources down under that it would take a mammoth fee, a six figure sum to sign Croft.
The Tigers have lost Luke Brooks to Manly Sea Eagles in 2024 after he was linked with a move to Leeds Rhinos.
Now Tigers boss Tim Sheens has confirmed the club’s interest in Croft as he said the club are considering targets from England.
When asked about it, he told the Australian: “He has been discussed and there’s a lot of halves being discussed that we are looking at both here and in England.
“I don’t want to start discussing if, whats and maybes in that area.
“Once we do something we’ll let you know.
“We want an experienced head … we do need an organiser who can run the game for us.”
