“Not fit for purpose” – fans criticise Odsal as photos of pitch revealed
Bradford’s return to Odsal was supposed to initiate a wave of enthusiasm – it was, after all, a return to the stadium where the Golden Era of the late ’90s and early 2000s was created.
However, the Odsal field in recent weeks has been under intense scrutiny for its inadequate measurements.

The RFL allowed Bradford to return to Odsal, despite the pitch being just 51 metres wide – the usual demand is that professional pitches are a minimum of 55 metres wide and 92 metres long.
That effectively means that Odsal is not fit for requirement, which has led some Twitter users to show their displeasure.
Both Dudley Hill and West Bowling play on better pitches than the professional team in Bradford.. That's unacceptable
