Norman to make Super League switch?

Parramatta star Corey Norman could be leaving the Eels come 2019 but his destination has been much speculated.

Norman has insisted his stay at the club is not in doubt, but NRL rivals Canberra and Newcastle have both expressed their interests in the previous months, now it seems Huddersfield Giants have joined the hunt for the halfback.

Huddersfield have endured a turbulent season, which included the sacking of head coach Rick Stone. Since the sacking of the boss, the Giants have become one of the biggest threats in the competition with new coach, Simon Woolford, steering the side to 7 wins from 9 matches and within 2 points of securing their Super League status.

Woolford may well be looking to Norman as a partner for Danny Brough to take the Giants to the next level, and possibly compete for the top 4 come 2019.

Parramatta currently sit rock bottom of the NRL standings and rotation in the squad could be wise come the off-season, leaving a Norman exit quite possible.
