NFL star quarter-back has message for Samoa ahead of World Cup Final as star player enjoys heartwarming moment

Samoa are set for their first ever Rugby League World Cup Final.

It’s not just their first World Cup in rugby league but also their first ever in any sport.

They are set to battle a star-studded Australia side at Old Trafford today in a huge final as the holders look to cling on to the World title at Samoa’s expense.

They have received support from Hollywood star and former WWE wrestle Dwayne The Rock Johnson and now Miami Dolphins star quarter-back Tua Tagovailoa has now given his support to the team.

He said: “What’s up guys, I just wanted to give a big shout out to the Samoa rugby league team on making it to the World Cup Final.

“You make guys like me really proud to be Samoan and I just wanted to wish you guys good look and we’ll be rooting for you. Go get them.”

If they didn’t need any more motivation, these messages will likely give them it as will the surprise visit of family.

Penrith Panthers star Jarome Luai, who is set to come up against his mate and star halfback partner Nathan Cleary, was surprised by his family coming over to England in a heart warming moment which you can watch here:
