Newcastle Thunder have confirmed the signing of forward Adam Lawton from Salford Red Devils for the 2020 season.
The 26-year-old signed for Salford last season from North West Mens League side West Bank Bears and made four appearances. He also spent time on loan at Swinton Lions and Rochdale Hornets.
Lawton told the club website: “I spoke to Denis and Finny during the year and I’m happy with the move now that it has all happened. I’ve worked with Denis before and I like him as a coach, so it is good to link back up with him and it’s a new fresh challenge here.”
Thunder Head Coach Simon Finnigan added: “I’m pleased with the addition off Adam to our squad, he brings Super League experience and will add to the strike we already have on our edges.”
