More Legends commit to testimonial

Leeds Rhinos legends Danny McGuire and Kylie Leuluai will take to the field for one last time on Sunday.

The pair have become the latest legends to commit to the game after Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock, Rob Burrow and Jamie Jones Buchanan announced their participation.

Bradford Bulls also have legends playing in the match, as Robbie Hunter-Paul, Nathan McAvoy, Wayne Godwin, Matty Blythe as well as Stuart and James Fielden.

The addition of these two will be the latest from the 2015 treble-winning side to play in this special game.

It is acting as a joint fundraiser for Jones-Buchanan’s testimonial and for Rob Burrow, as he fights MND.

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Mix at 3pm on Sunday.

Director of Rugby Kevin Sinfield told the club website:  “I would like to say a massive thank you to all our former players who have been in touch over the last month to help support Rob.

“Whilst only six will take the field, we know we are representing them all out there. There are lots of former team mates of Rob and Jamie coming to the game and it will be an unparalleled occasion.”
