More clubs reveal their interest in Wigan Warriors’ Kai Pearce-Paul and Huddersfield Giants’ Will Pryce

Wigan Warriors’ Kai Pearce-Paul and Huddersfield Giants’ Will Pryce are reportedly being chased by up to six clubs.

That’s according to Zerotackle which claims that the Newcastle Knights are hunting both in big deals with the Knights’ recruitment boss Clint Zammit reportedly meeting with both players in March when he travelled to England, according to The Newcastle Herald.

But, there are also five other clubs who have stepped up their interest with the likes of Canberra Raiders and Wests Tigers having raided English clubs in recent seasons with the likes of George Williams, John Bateman and Oliver Gildart making a move.

21-year-old Pearce-Paul and 19-year-old Will Pryce have been in stellar form for Wigan and Huddersfield respectively and now Warriors star Kai Pearce-Paul has also reportedly teamed up with major agent Sam Ayoub – as reported last week.

The Daily Telegraph has reported that Ayoub – often hailed as the world’s most powerful agent – linked up with Peace-Paul’s manager, Iestyn Harris, in order to handle negotiations with NRL sides.

After bursting onto the scene with the London Broncos, Peace-Paul impressed enough to be given a long-term deal by Wigan Warriors.

Debuting in 2021, the rangy back-rower or centre looked comfortable at the highest level with a wicked offload and a physicality that makes him difficult to tackle.

His form in 2022 so far has been even more impressive and Pearce-Paul was rewarded with a spot in Shaun Wane’s 30-man England squad.

It’s unclear, however, how many clubs are circling Pryce who is currently sitting out on the sidelines after being handed a ten-match ban for a dangerous tackle earlier in the season.

However, Pryce has a great number of suitors with his confident demeanour and undeniable skill attracting huge attention.
