Miller to make comeback against Leeds

Wakefield Trinity v Catalans Dragons

Wakefield Trinity coach Chris Chester says star half-back Jacob Miller will return to action against Leeds Rhinos on Thursday night at the Beaumont Legal Stadium.

Miller has been out injured with a broken leg, sustained in the 42-30 victory against Wigan Warriors in May.

The Australian returned to the 19 man squad for last week’s game against Huddersfield Giants but Chester didn’t take the risk, instead leaving him to rest for the round two clash with Leeds.

“Milky will definitely play,” said Chester.

“He trained all last week and he has trained really well.

“He will come into the 17 and I am looking forward to seeing him back out there. He has been out a long time and we’ve not rushed him back.

“We’ve had no need to, but our medical people have got him back two or three weeks earlier than expected.”
