Our final game of the season was scheduled to be a Home fixture vs Halton Farnworth Hornets A on Saturday, however, a late cancellation brought a premature end to our season.
After suffering a 106-4 defeat in Widnes earlier in the year we were keen to test ourselves against the youthful HFH side again to see if we had improved, but due to several late drop outs on the morning of the game it meant that they couldn’t travel to Bolton. The game went down as a 24-0 win for Bolton Mets, our second in 4 weeks, and brought down the curtain on what had been a tough old season.
The End of Season Awards Evening took place later the same day, a full season review, complete with all the winners, will follow shortly.
