Jai Field is leading the Man of Steel race and has established himself as the league’s best fullback.
That’s despite the qualities of Jake Connor, Sam Tomkins and even teammate Bevan French who he has left stranded on the wing due to his performances at the back.
However, today, Jai Field has today switched positions. This comes as the Warriors struggle for halfbacks with no Thomas Leuluai or Cade Cust. The Leuluai absence is perhaps due to the fact he played his first game in weeks in the cup final last week as he rushed back from injury whilst Cust is hit by injury.
This has seen Jai Field move into the halves, Bevan French move to fullback and Abbas Miski come onto the wing for a rare appearance.

Sam Powell also returns and could have been an option at nine. Instead he takes over at nine in place of young Brad O’Neill who is dropped.
