Matt Peet explains why St Helens will beat Warrington Wolves tonight

Tonight we see a huge clash between Super League and World Champions St Helens and the league leaders the Warrington Wolves – in short two teams many believes to be in and around the Grand Final at the end of the year.

But what makes things more interesting is the fact the two come into the game after defeat.

Here’s everything you need to know.

The game kicks off at 20:00.

Sky Sports’ coverage starts at 19:30.

A huge game that comes on the back of some huge games over the last few weeks as Wigan Warriors, who sit second in the table, have beaten both of them in the last fortnight which is why their coach Matt Peet is best placed to give his view on the game tonight.

Speaking on Sky Sports, he explained why St Helens will defeat Warrington in his opinion:

“I actually think St Helens will win. I think the fact Paul Vaughan is banned the way he is playing and Matty Lees plays, I think that will be the deciding factor.

“I think two really quality teams and electric backfields on both sides but I think St Helens might just take it through the middle there but who knows I think it will be a fantastic game.

“I think people are reading too much into St Helens’ results. We went to Hull KR in Round One and we got turned over so that result is not as bad as it may appear, they will be in the mix at the end of the year.”
