“Mate, I’ve nothing left to give you” – Cameron Munster gives young English fan World Cup medal box in beautiful moment

Outside Old Trafford when the dust had settled on Australia’s 30-10 victory over Samoa, fans were still waiting to get a glimpse of their favourite players.
One of these fans was a young lad who happened to come across Australian star Cameron Munster.
Having celebrated on the pitch and since changed into a training top the Melbourne Storm star didn’t have anything spare to give as a memento.
In an amazing act of generosity though he offered his world cup medal display box, even signing it with the words “WORLD CHAMPS” emboldened in white ink.
In a post shared on Facebook the starting half back can be seen in conversation with the young lad and is quoted as saying “mate, I’ve nothing left to give you”.
At that point he realised he had his medal box surplus to requirements as he was proudly wearing his medal, and stated “I tell you what, have my gold medal box” before offering to sign it.
A wonderful gesture and one that highlights the brilliant nature and community feel that runs deep through the heart of rugby league.
It was reminiscent of when former cross-code star Sonny Bill Williams went one step further and gave away his actual medal at the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup.
