Marsters to the Cowboys?

The Wests Tigers announced yesterday that they had released first grade centre Esan Marsters, with a move to the North Queensland Cowboys being heavily rumoured.

Many punters believe that for the Cowboys to improve in 2020 they need to bolster their back five, especially after announcing the release of part-time first graders Javid Bowen and Gideon Gela-Mosby.

Whilst winger Kyle Feldt’s individual performances have been impressive and young fullback Scott Drinkwater looks promising, the Cowboys do need to add some star power to the rest of the backline.

The Townsville based club have also been mentioned as a potential destination for Broncos duo Jack Bird and Corey Oates.
