Mark Applegarth makes big Luke Gale decision ahead of Leeds clash

Super League Round 15 wraps up today in West Yorkshire.

It is a West Yorkshire derby as Wakefield Trinity finally look to claim a first win of the season against Leeds Rhinos.

The Rhinos are also under pressure. They have only one win in over the last month and their play-off hopes are hanging by a thread.

Leeds will look to get back on track at Belle Vue.

The Rhinos come into the game on the back of a shock defeat against 11th placed Castleford Tigers last week at the Magic Weekend.

Wakefield will be thinking this could be their best chance to get a first win with the Rhinos in a rut at the moment.

A big derby, the game is expected to be a sellout according to Wakefield Trinity on social media.

The team news is now in.

Wakefield are still without Luke Gale.

So Will Dagger starts in the halves with Morgan Smith. There is no Mason Lino.

David Fifita is in line for his first home appearance since returning.

He starts on the bench. There are debuts for Romain Franco, Hugo Salabio and Joe Law.

As for the Rhinos, there is a debut for young signing Leon Ruan off the bench and Liam Tindall replaces Derrell Olpherts on the wing.

Olpherts is the 18th man.

Jack Sinfield is left out with Blake Austin joined in the halves by Richie Myler. Ash Handley is at fullback.
