London Broncos are establishing a competitive squad with former Hull FC and Toronto Wolfpack centre Hakim Miloudi the latest to sign for the club.
The French centre joins from Limoux in the French Elite One Championship after a spell at Albi Tigers. He made this move after a successful spell at Barrow Raiders alongside Tee Ritson.
He joins the Broncos after the club have worked hard to retain some of their key men in what has been a strong off-season of business from the Broncos since they earned promotion by defeating Toulouse Olympique in the Championship Grand Final.
But this deal for Miloudi isn’t over the line and could collapse if the visa isn’t granted, though given his previous stint in Super League he will likely earn the visa.
The Broncos have been busy this off-season. London have also announced that Sam Davis, sponsored by prime media images, has signed a new contract to remain with the club next season.
The 25-year-old, who made 29 appearances for the Broncos in 2023, played an important part in the team’s success last season.
Speaking on his new deal, Davis reaffirms his pride in being a part of last season’s squad and shares his excitement in next year’s super league challenge.
“I’m really looking forward to this year, I think the opportunity to play super league really speaks for itself.
“What we achieved last year was a pleasure to be a part of and I can’t wait to rip in next year with the squad and make some even better memories.”
The club have also retained Dean Parata who at 32 years old has proven to be a force to be reckoned with on the rugby league field. His remarkable talent and exceptional performance throughout the 2023 season earned him the prestigious Betfred Championship player of the year award, making him a standout player in the league.
Dean’s dedication to the game and his unwavering commitment to the London Broncos have made him an integral part of the team. His skills, both on and off the field, have not only contributed to the club’s success but have also solidified his place in the hearts of the broncos’ faithful supporters.
As Dean reflects on his decision to extend his contract with the London Broncos, his enthusiasm for the upcoming season is palpable. He is eager to once again immerse himself in the thrilling world of rugby league and is looking forward to being a pivotal member of the London team as they make their mark in the Super League.
In Dean’s own words: “I’m excited to spend another year at the broncos. super league needs a team from London in the competition, and I’m more than happy to play my small role in ensuring that we not only stay there but continue to thrive.”
