Match officials have been confirmed for Magic Weekend at Elland Road, with Jack Smith and Tom Grant each getting a marquee game. All six fixtures in Super League round 22 will be played at Leeds United’s home ground on Saturday and Sunday.
Smith will be in the middle for day one’s big derby between second-placed Wigan Warriors and arch-rivals St Helens, who are fourth in the table. The following afternoon, Grant takes charge of leaders Hull KR’s tussle with Catalans Dragons, who are fifth and still battling to secure a top-six finish.
Saturday’s other matches see Liam Rush in control of the Magic Weekend opener between Hull FC and London Broncos, while Chris Kendall has been appointed to Warrington Wolves’ showdown with Leeds Rhinos. On Sunday, Liam Moore will referee the derby between Salford Red Devils and Leigh Leopards and his brother Aaron takes the event’s final fixture, when Huddersfield Giants face Castleford Tigers.
