Luke Gale has taken a defiant stand against recent speculation about why he was stripped of the Leeds captaincy.
The former Rhinos skipper was first dropped by head coach Richard Agar and then had the captaincy withdrawn following a team meeting.
But, intense speculation had linked Gale with all sorts of stories, all of which were put to bed when the Yorkshire Evening Post revealed an exclusive with the halfback as to what had really happened.
And, the 32-year-old has now taken to Twitter to solidify that stance and put rumours to bed once and for all.
After reading a lot of BS over these last couple of days I felt I had to clear a few things up..
As far as I’m concerned it’s over and we move on as we prepare for Thursdays game 🦏 https://t.co/qvdzTBSJkA

Gale has been recalled for Leeds’ clash with Hull FC tomorrow night as the Rhinos try and force their way into the top six play-off.
