Luke Gale limps off in Leeds victory

Leeds suffered yet another devastating injury blow in tonight’s victory over Leigh as Luke Gale limped off after just 15 minutes.

Gale seemingly hurt himself in a tackle and had to be replaced by Brad Dwyer, so Kruise Leeming moved to halfback.

That meant yet another halfback partnership for the Rhinos with Leeming and Rob Lui taking the reins.

It was even more frustrating for Gale considering it was his first game back after a one-match ban, with the former captain coming out into the stands for the second-half with a knee brace.

Leeds head coach Richard Agar already has injury problems with the likes of Liam Sutcliffe, Alex Mellor and Mikolaj Oledzki all ruled out for the season.
