Luke Gale confirmed to debut against former club on Sunday

It’s been confirmed by Keighley Cougars that former Man of Steel, Luke Gale, will feature on Sunday in his teammate’s testimonial.

The game on Sunday at Cougar Park sees the League One Champions host both Gale and Webster’s former club, Castleford Tigers.

The match will serve as Webster’s testimonial and many fans, of both clubs, were anticipating whether the most talked about man this off-season would feature or not.

Keighley have now taken to Twitter to confirm that Gale will feature, something that is great news for both sets of fans.

Both Gale and Webster spend a considerable amount of time playing at the Jungle so it makes perfect sense for Gale to debut in this match, which will receive great attendance as fans honour Webster in his testimonial year.

For the matchup Castleford have named a strong squad and head coach Lee Radford has returned from Samoa to lead out his team against the invincible champions of League One from 2022.
