Warrington Wolves will look to get back to winning ways with a match against the London Broncos, the Super League’s bottom side. Sam Burgess’ team can keep the pressure on Hull KR and Wigan Warriors with a win.
It was Hull KR who beat Warrington Wolves last week as the Robins knocked Wire off top spot with a 22-4 victory, orchestrated by the brilliant Mikey Lewis and anchored by mammoth defensive efforts from the likes of Dean Hadley.
Warrington likely couldn’t hope for a better ‘get-right’ game as they face Super League’s bottom side London, however, the Broncos are not to be underestimated, as Catalans found out last week.
London landed just their second win of the season when they beat the French side 12-10 and they were well worthy of their win with Mike Eccles’ side putting in an incredible performance.
Warrington Wolves and London Broncos have met twice so far this season, facing each other in Super League and the Challenge Cup back-t0-back with Warrington running out as 58-4 and 42-0 victors. The team news for today’s clash is now in.
London Broncos Team News
After their incredible win over Catalans Dragons, London will be full of confidence and so they should be with the side almost back to full strength too.
The likes of Jack Campagnolo and Dean Parata have returned recently whilst Josh Rourke has been on brilliant form since his return from a leg break in pre-season. Prior to last week’s game, Rourke had scored in four consecutive games.
London have made two changes to their squad from last week with Emmanuel Waine and Lewis Bienik both returning meaning Jenson Monk and Jack Hughes drop out. Bill Leyland remains out after his season-ending ACL injury.

Sam Burgess has made even more changes, partly through rest and partly through knocks but it’s afforded an opportunity for some younger players.
Cai Taylor-Wray and Zac Bardsley-Rowe come into the 21-man squad whilst there is also a return for James Harrison after his two-game ban and Tom Whitehead.
Bardsley-Rowe could debut for the club but Toby King is in line to return after failing to make the matchday squad last week. He and Joe Philbin could both feature for the first time since their injury.
The four men who drop out are Ben Currie, Josh Thewlis, Lachlan Fitzgibbon and Luke Yates. Stefan Ratchford, Connor Wrench and Leon Hayes all remain out with long-term injuries.
