London Broncos have signed Hull FC outside back Jude Ferreira on a season-long loan.
The young centre heads to the capital to join Jermaine Coleman’s side for the 2022 Betfred Championship campaign.
The 20-year old academy product, who became part of the Black & Whites’ first-team setup midway through the 2020 campaign, is yet to make his competitive debut for the club, and will head to the Broncos to help aid his development next season, and earn some important game time.
The West Hull junior, who has previously represented the England Academy, has been a strong performer for the Hull FC Academy side in recent seasons, having captained the team in 2020 and made a number of impressive performances in 2021.
Speaking on Ferreira’s move to the Broncos, Hull FC head coach, Brett Hodgson, said: “This is a good opportunity for Jude to get some much needed game-time under his belt with a well-established Championship club.
“There is plenty of promise and potential in Jude but it’s important at this stage of his career that he continues to develop and understand what is required to become a regular first-team player – and London provides him with a great opportunity to do that.
“They’re a good club and it’s a good fit for Jude. It will give him chance to push beyond his comfort zone, embrace the opportunity of living in a new area and competing for a starting spot in a challenging division, which will provide invaluable experience on and off the field for him.”
