It’s been a busy few days with transfer speculation at London Broncos, with players being linked to joining and leaving the club.
Starting with outgoings, and three of their Papua New Guinean contingent are said to have signed development contracts at the PNG Chiefs.
Gairo Voro, Morea Morea and Finlay Glare are all thought, by Australian media, to have signed two-year deals at the club.
After the signings of Jarome Luai, Alex Johnston, Connor Watson and Matty Lees, the trio will become the first homegrown talents to join the side, who will embark on their first NRL season in 2028.
What’s interesting, though, is that they have reportedly signed development contracts, as opposed to a Top 30 contract. That suggests that, initially, they may not get a crack at the NRL, and will be waiting on the fringes for an opportunity.
The three have been some of London’s, and the Championship’s, best players this season, with Morea scoring 29 tries in 17 games, Voro scoring 18 in 20 and Glare dotting down 14 times in 12 games.
Voro in particular has been linked with the club, with the Chiefs’ General Manager, Michael Chammas, making no secret of his intentions to add homegrown players to the squad as much as they can.

With three players reportedly on the outer, the club in the capital are also thought to be adding to their squad.
After already confirming the signings of Toby King and Joe Philbin, the Broncos are now set to add some more NRL quality to their side, which is highly expected to be competing in Super League next year.
In a move similar to that of Luke Smith and Emarly Bitungane, Souths hooker Peter Mamouzelos has been linked to London on a one-year deal.
Per NRL’s The Mole, the 25-year-old could join Jason Demetriou’s squad for 2027 before joining the PNG Chiefs when they join the competition in 2028.
The Greek international is still contracted to Souths next year, so a release would have to be granted for the move to occur.
Mamouzelos has 48 NRL games under his belt and has played 10 times for Greece. He has a further 51 reserve grade games to his name.
