Liam Moore and Chris Kendall return for Super League semi-finals

Well, the Super League semi-finals are finally upon us.

After a season of blood, sweat and tears, there are only four teams left fighting it out for that elusive Grand Final trophy.

All eyes will be firmly focused on Friday night first with Wigan Warriors hosting the Leeds Rhinos at the DW Stadium in the first semi-final.

Wigan, of course, had a weekend off following their second-place finish as they go up against a Leeds side that was dominant in the south of France last weekend.

That fixture saw the Rhinos come out 20-10 victors in the heat of battle as Rohan Smith’s side shocked their French opponents in a hostile environment.

Saturday’s clash will see St Helens host the Salford Red Devils at the Totally Wicked Stadium in front of the Channel 4 cameras as well as Sky Sports with the fixture eagerly anticipated by the rugby league fraternity.

Saints, like Wigan, had the weekend off after securing the League Leaders’ Shield in a win over Toulouse Olympique whilst Salford put the Huddersfield Giants to the sword away from home.

That 28-0 win encapsulated the journey that Paul Rowley has got his Salford side travelling down and Saints will need to watch out.
