Wigan Warriors have been busy in the transfer market in recent days with forward Mike Cooper joining from Warrington Wolves.
Well, now they have been busy in the retention stakes with Liam Farrell signing a new three-year deal with his boyhood club.
It means Farrell will stay at the club until at least the end of 2025 with Sky Sports pundit Jenna Brooks announcing the news live as Wigan were set to take on Salford Red Devils at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Brooks said it was an easy decision for him and that he was the one that approached the Wigan club in order to sign the extension.

The 31-year-old has made almost 300 appearances for the Warriors since debuting back in 2010, winning four Super League Grand Finals and two Challenge Cups during that time.
It will likely be his last or penultimate contract with Farrell set to play his whole career for Wigan.
