Leon Pryce reacts to new role as pundit on Premier Sports

Leon Pryce has taken to social media to outline his excitement for his new career role.

The new team for Premier Sports’ rugby league coverage has been announced, with Emma Jones fronting the channel.

But, Pryce – alongside Kevin Brown will be the pundits in the opening week’s show alongside

And, the former St Helens and Hull FC halfback cannot wait to get involved, stating on social media giant Twitter: “Excited to be a part of this team, can’t wait to get going.”

Premier Sports is set to become the exclusive home of Monday Night Rugby League with live and exclusive coverage from the 2022 season to the Play-Offs in the Autumn culminating in the Million Pound Game –including every match of the Summer Bash featuring all 14 clubs in a single venue on the same weekend.

The deal also includes coverage of seven Betfred Challenge Cup ties through the spring, as Premier Sports have secured secondary rights to the competition – first choice picks in rounds 3, 4 and 5, the third and fourth pick of round 6 and the third and fourth pick of the Quarter Final Round.

Viewers will therefore be able to watch over 40 matches guaranteed live and exclusive on Premier Sports in 2022 – with Emma Jones set to be the face of the new show.
